Terms of Use
Lady Pill Reminder · Effective July 3, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Lady Pill Reminder mobile app, operated by Ben Basha ("we"). By installing or using the app you accept them. Contact: ladypillreminder@benbasha.com.
1. What the app is
The app is a reminder tool for the contraceptive (birth control) pill. It lets you set up a pill pack, schedule a daily reminder that repeats until you mark the pill as taken, and keep your taking history and notes on your device.
2. Not a medical device, no medical advice
- Lady Pill Reminder is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for your pill's leaflet or for guidance from your doctor or pharmacist.
- The app is a support, not your sole reminder. Do not rely on it as your only means of remembering to take your pill.
- If you miss a pill or have any question about your contraception, follow the instructions in your pill's leaflet or contact your doctor or pharmacist.
3. License to use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own, for your own use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer the app or extract its source code, except where the law allows it despite these terms.
4. Reminders are not guaranteed
Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. Whether and when they appear depends on your device — its operating system, notification and alarm permissions, battery-optimization and Do Not Disturb settings, power state, and clock. Operating-system limits, a powered-off or restarted device, or changed permissions can delay, silence, or prevent a reminder. We do not warrant that any reminder will fire, be on time, or be seen, and we are not responsible for a missed or late pill. The in-app Reminder Health check helps you verify your settings, but it cannot guarantee delivery.
5. Free version and ads
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob (see the privacy policy at ladypill.benbasha.com/privacy for what ad serving involves). We may adjust the free version over time.
6. Remove-ads purchase
- "Remove ads" is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase ($3.99) — not a subscription. It removes ads on the device's app-store account.
- Billing is handled entirely by Google Play or Apple's App Store under their terms. Refunds are handled by the store under the store's refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly.
- Use "Restore purchase" in settings to recover the removal of ads on a new device signed into the same store account.
7. Your data
Everything you enter — your pill pack, taking history, and notes — is stored only on your device; there is no account and no sign-up. What the app collects and how ads and any analytics work is described in the privacy policy at ladypill.benbasha.com/privacy. By using the app you agree to that processing as described there.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app — including attempting to bypass purchase verification, scraping or repackaging the app's compiled content, or using the app in any unlawful way.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or the timely delivery of any reminder.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app — including a missed or late pill, an unintended pregnancy, any health consequence, or loss of locally stored data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the remove-ads purchase (or zero if you use the free version).
11. Changes to the app or these terms
We may update, change, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time. If these terms change materially, the updated version will be posted at ladypill.benbasha.com/terms with a new effective date; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend the license of anyone who materially breaches these terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
